November, 2006  Deputy PM Al-Shatti visited Kyoto to participate STS Forum Delegation headed by H.E. Dr. Ismael Al-Shatti, Deputy Prime Minister cum State Minister for Cabinet Affairs visited Kyoto from September 9th until September 11th to attend STS Forum 2006 which was held in Kyoto International Conference Hall. At a plenary session titled "Dialogue between Political Leaders and Scientists", H.E. Dr. Al-Shatti made a speech as an invited speaker . During his stay in Kyoto, H.E. Dr. Al-Shatti met separately with H.E. Mr. Koji Omi, Chairman of STS Forum, H.E. Mr. Iwao Matsuda, Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, H.E. Mr. Shinzo Abe, Chief Cabinet Secretary, and H.E. Mr. Kenji Kosaka, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports & Science.
