Kuwaiti women win political rights Kuwait�fs parliament has passed a law granting women the right to vote and run in elections for the first time in the state�fs history.  The bill proposed by the Kuwaiti government was passed by a 35-23 vote after several years of debate.  With this new law, women over 21 will be able to vote and run in parliamentary elections which is scheduled in 2007.
