H.E. Ambassador Al-Otaibi participates in the Arab Day 2012 Reception

On Tuesday, H. E. Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan, Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi, participated in the Arab Day 2012 reception accompanied by Madam Jamilah Al-Otaibi and the First Secretary Mr. Mohammed Al-Mutairi. The Arab Day is annually organized by the Council of Arab Ambassadors and Heads of Missions in Tokyo to extend further relationships between Japan and Arab countries, and it was their 4th Anniversary, which was supposed to be held last year, but cancelled due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The reception was held in the presence of H.E. Mr. Yoshihiko Noda Japanese Prime Minister, Ministers and other high-ranking officials from Japanese corporations. In his speech, Prime Minister Noda expressed gratitude towards generous donations and support for the Great East Japan Earthquake, which was hit by a magnitude 9.0 earthquake and tsunami in March last year, and hoped to strength the relationships between Middle East region and Japan. It was held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Tokyo.
