Ambassador Otaibi hosts dinner in honor of Kuwaiti, Japanese officials

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Japan Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi hosted a dinner in honor of visiting Civil Service Commission (CSC) Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Roumi and his accompanying delegation, as well as Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) President Kazuhisa Matsuoka.
During the dinner, the ambassador welcomed the two sides and underscored their significant efforts to help deepen the cooperative relations between Kuwait and Japan. On Monday, the CSC and the JICE sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) here on technical cooperation for the development of Kuwait's human resources.
Kuwaiti government officials and experts, in groups of 10-12 members, will undergo training courses provided by the JICE, starting later this year.
Al-Otaibi also showed satisfaction on the agreement and the results of visit to Tokyo by Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah to participate in the first Japan-Kuwait Joint Committee on meeting, June 2. "The five training courses, which will be conducted in Japan for the benefit of Kuwait until June next year under the MOU, is a new and important step toward strengthening and deepening cooperation in all fields between Kuwait and Japan.
also he expressed hope that the two sides will continue joint efforts to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries, noting that Kuwait and Japan will mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties in 2011.
