From Kuwait to Japan

  1998	First Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Sheikh Sabah visited Japan from October 25 to 29 as an official guest of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan. He was welcomed by H.M. Emperor, and T.H. Crown Prince and Princess at the Imperial Palace. He had a series of fruitful meetings with Prime Minister Obuchi, Foreign Minister Koumura and other distinguished Japanese persons. During his stay in Japan, he opened the "Meet Kuwait 98" Exhibition Program in the presence of H.H. Prince Takamado.

During his visiting, he had an audience with His Majesty the Emperor and also had a meeting and dinner with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.
  2008	Prime Minister, H.H sheikh Nasser Al Mohammed Al Ahmed Al Sabah, paid an official visit to Japan accompanied by a high-level delegation from 26-29 of July 2008.
  2004	Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamd Al-Sabah visited Japan from 24 Nov. to 29 Nov. in 2004, as official guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During his visiting, the Deputy Prime Minister had met with Prime Minister Koizumi, Foreign Minister Machimura, Minister of Defense Agency Ohno and so on, and had exchanged views on a wide range of the bilateral relations and the Middle Eastern Affairs.
